What are Trollbeads?

Trollbeads are a form of beaded jewelry made from a variety of materials. Each bead is given a unique story inspired by mythology and astrology, among other things. They are used in unique combinations to make charm bracelets and necklaces.

The first Trollbead, originally called a Trollpearl, was created in 1976 by Soren Nielsen, a silversmith in Copenhagen, Denmark. Made of silver and pearl, it was called "The Mask."
